Thanks to all of you for keeping hardware hacking alive.

The following are the contents of this disk, and a brief discription of
what you'll find here.

The benchmark directory contains four benchmark programs that were
made available on the Washington DEVCON disks. Thanks to Al Aburto
for allowing me to distribute them here. If you look at the Transactor
article you'll see the performance of the Lucas Board vs a standard
Amiga 1000. The _s files are here so that the benchmarks can be run
from the their Icon using IconX.

The Root directory contains the information on how to get a LUCAS board
in the Want_One..mmm file.

The following hacks are recommended. The 68000_hack allows you
to put the 68000 back in your machine, switch selectable at boot time. If
you want this option, this is how to do it. I have this mod in my
machine.
The PIXAR_hack may be needed for some amigas, read the discription
and see if it applies to you.

You may find the following utilities useful. Setcpu can be used

This is the root directory. The file 32-bit is the TRANSACTOR
article for the 32-bit memory board (FRANCES).
The file called suppliers is here because the DRAM controller
used for FRANCES seemed particularily difficult to find.

**** IMPORTANT ****

One of the suppliers in the list sells used 68020's & 68881's
(16 meg parts) for $35.00 each. Several folks have already reported in
that this is real and a good deal. They guarantee the parts for 30 Days.
I can't guarantee anything about this supplier but it
seems like a great deal to me.
